Cold Water Basin Coating

CTS uses a flexible ployurethane coaring used on cooling tower applications for over 30 years. Fill media is removed and cold water basin is prepped by either sand blasting or grinding the basin surfaces. After the basin is cleaned of remaining debris, an adhesion promotor is applied to good bonding at the coating to the substraight. The two part polyurethane is mixed and applied to the cold water basin up to the overflow level. New fill media is then installed and the cooling tower is filled and placed back online. This same coating procedure can be used to coar the hot water basin on crossflow cooling towers.
